The Laser is about ready to cover, looks like I will be able to take it to FtWorth IMAC the 24th of this month, may not have all the trim on. Mounted the engine today, now comes the cowl. Oh goody.

Hello All
Well my Laser is finished and will be Monokoted with the original metallic blue, yellow, red, and white scheme. Have never used any other other colors. This is my 5th 40 % Laser. Was started the 7th of September.

My god, you're a quick builder, I have the same of time to work on mine but never as fast you.

Right now I'm working on the cowling since I am still waiting for the wood I ordered a month ago, go figure...

Thanks Don, I should receive the wood this week I hope... Ya Jack is a hell of a builder and he made a good design with this laser.

Will post a pix of the parts to be covered, and then the completed covering, should start covering this week, am shooting for finish, with maybe not all the graphics, to fly this coming weekend.

Don't despair, I am now working on the cowling, first making a plug, then will make a mold and then draw parts from it.

I should have pictures tomorow of the plug which isn't finished yet but coming along.

No I don't plan on marketing these since they would not conform to the true nature of the Laser, for instance I am making this one with no cowl cheeks seen on the Laser, the turbine exhaust will be in its place.

If it is successful, I can make them for those doing the same as me with the turbo prop.

Remember , I said if I am successful since I have not done this before , although my brother which is an expert will offer much needed advice.

Please read the previous posts. The cowls and canopies and the landing gear are available! If you want a landging gear, send me a private message. If you are going to build this plane you are going to need these items.
