Jack, that is a great looking Laser. Here is the one I built using your plans. Best flying airplane I have ever had.

Hey you guys, great looking lasers and Jack, if mine can look this good after 20 years, I will be a happy camper.

It's on the rudder I'll look for the picture, it's somewhere on FG.

OK guys, lets not make this thread another boost tab thread, this is about the building of a 40% Laser using a Turbo prop engine, similar to the 34%

Boost tabs will be incorporated on all control surfaces as they have been for all my airplanes since 10 years.

The boost tab, in question , on the pics is my first try, and it was a little small, but did work the rudder better than without a tab. Lazyeness is the reason they are not on the other surfaces, and the fact that I was not having "blow back" on either of them. The throws on this plane are about 3/4 inch on ele. and aileron. These throws are for IMAC for slow reaction, the judges seem to like this, fast roll rates is not very realistic, and too sharp corners in pitch are does not present well, I suppose. If you want to see the first tab and the later tab please ask as I don't know how to inclose pix on a quick reply. The old tab is in post # 115. The new tab has been posted on this thread previously. Thanks Jaguar for the orange grabbers note, they my lucky crocks.

It would be kinda like someone in drag racing saying that they can run 10's in a stock civic then then telling people to trust that it is possible.
Hello Cracky
You, among a few other staff members seem to have a positive outlook on misunderstood ideas, so I will just inject a thought about boost tabs on ailerons while torque rolling. Its my understanding that ailerons are not used during this helicopter type thing. Now if this is not factual please inform me as to the truth. Thanks
Jack
