Default 4th Annual Hamilton HAWKS IMAC Challenge

OMG! We are less than two weeks away. Plans have are in the final stages. The Pre-registration list grows every day. I am getting excited for another great contest. Last year we had over 50 pilots registered. I am honored that many of you make this a "Don't Miss" contest. It is my hope that you all could attend.

We are scaling some things back and pushing forward with others. First is the price this year is reduced from years past. For IMAC members that Pre-Register the cost is only $25.00 this year. If you wait till the day of the contest you will have to pay 30.00. For non-IMAC members it is $35.00 pre, and $40.00 on the day of the contest. You can even pay your registration on PAYPAL! The link for the PAYPAL is on the www.hawksrc.org website. Give it a try gonna be something new this year. Just think you sell that small piece of junk on Ebay to pay for IMAC event and the Mrs. won't even get angry.....

Also new this year is we are going to have a full pledge practice day on Friday. Wayne Geffon and Ken Mcguire have agreed to do a "Flash" Judging Seminar on Friday. So plan on coming early and get some training from a couple of the best! The training Seminar will begin around 10:00am and run into the afternoon. Then at 4:00pm the field will close down just for us. We will have practice flying and practice judging onsite to help give you that extra edge for the contest.

Oh Yeah did I mention the Raffle Plan this year?

Yep! an ExtremeFlight 88' YAK54 with the new RUSSIAN THUNDER Scheme and a $350.00 Gift Certificate from our buddies at Dessert Aircraft! Tickets for the raffle are going to $5.00 for 1, or $10.00 for 3. These can be bought at the field or you can use the PAYPAL for that too! All paid registrants will get one free ticket in their pilot packet too.

Their will be a few more golden nuggets that show up over the next few days but this should be good for now.

Ric

Can't wait for it Ric!

Hey, for those coming down I have a favor to ask. I'd like to try a Mejlik 23-8 on my DA-50 now that I have an RE2 pipe installed and was wondering if anyone could lend me one for a test flight or two on Friday? Those buggers are $62 a pop and I hate to spend that much on speculation. If it works out good maybe someone would want to buy the 3 Vess 22B's I have?

Hey guys,

Couple of updates. The button for the Paypal is not been placed on the IMAC page on our website yet! Hopefully it will be soon. If you want to do the PAYPAL thang just send your payment to richard.musselman@53.com on the paypal website. The price is $25.00 for IMACers, and $35.00 for non members, and you can buy raffle tickets too. You do NOT have to be present to win so if you can't make it to the event but you want to buy raffle tickets that is fine by me. IF by chance you win and you are not there, you will have to arrange shipping of the prise....(Or you can give it to my son)

I also have gotten word from a couple of vendors for some pilot prises too. Yipee! I love it when a plan comes together

See you all soon.

Ric

Now I said might...And never said What...

Besides knowing how to fly a plane helps a little, and with my history at this event it is more important to practice on the front side of a thunderstorm with gusts to 50mph. Nothing like 50% power on landings just so you can almost roll out in forward motion.

Still looking for my canopy and dog, anybody seen them lately?

If I can get my new plane built in time I'll be there Rick.

I'd hate to have to miss this event as I had a great time last year.
