Default I'm doing something wrong-DP149 receiver

I have a 27% H9 Extra,9CAP Futaba with 149DP and I'm trying to get the two elevator servos to mix in the ailevator mode but can't get servo plugged into ch.8 slot to respond while the servo plugged into the ch. 2 slot works great.I have dialed the aileron values to zero as the manual says, but I must be doing something wrong.I first tried a Y-wire and with the hitec 5645 servos, they act crazy with that setup,so I'm trying the alevator feature.Any help will be appriciated. Thanks

Is the ailevator activated with the elevators at -100 and +100?

Check your servo function screen to make sure that your transmitter is actually commanding the #8 channel to go up and down with elevator input. If not, then it's something in your programming. If it is, then you may have a bad receiver or servo. You can also just set up a pmix from channel 2 to an open channel, with the link and trim fuctions on. I always just did that to run two elevator servos on my 9C.

What RapToBob said. You need to turn on the Ailevator function and then zero out the Aileron component.

Boy do I feel stupid.I had the ailevator function on,but had the second elevator servo plugged into the #6 slot instead of the #8. I learned today that even with 26 years of flying experience,I still am prone to some BIG mistakes.
