Default Unidentified Yak

Hi guys,
Just picked up a project Yak. The guy told me it was a Maxford. I have been unable to find any info on this plane. It covering looks like the Extreme Flight but it is not. The ws is either 74" or 72" I can't remember. Hoping you guys could help me to figure out where this comes from! Maybe it is a laser cut kit? I just don't know.

Thanks

Afriend of mine has one of these in his hangar. Purchased it used. I'll see if he knows the company name.

I am 100% positive that it is a WillHoby Yak 54.
I had one in the same color sceem, I just changed mine from the checkered tail.
I had a Brillelli 36GT in mine.

Tell me some more info on what you have in it.
Mine flew really good. I only have a few pictures and no video at all.
I sold it when I moved into all 100cc planes.

Hmmm, I have one of the Green Models (Maxford) 25% Yak's in the old color scheme, the fuse is different internally, they use a distinctive cat eye shaped lightening hole too....

If it is a will hobby is there parts for it, my canopy is warped and I do not know how long it will last in flight. I have a Super Tigre 3250 in it.

You might wanna swap out that Super Tigre carb for a perry carb! Trust me i have had many experiences with SUPER TIGRE! No i am not trying to bash at them. Its just that they were the only engines that my dad was buying at one point. And then i finally got sick of having to end each flight with an unexpected deadstick! So i finally just started buying my own engines. GO O.S engines! you can't go wrong with an OS!

E-bay was flooded with them for a while. I believe a divsion of WillHobby was selling them from a New York location.
I bought mine from Harrison & Anderson Hobbies, they had an ad on RCU.

Here is WillHobby website, maybe it will help.

You will need nose weight with any glow engine in this plane.
I would go with something like a 35cc - 40cc gasser if you are looking to swap the engine.
