As far as tail wheels I puffer the traditional 2 spring design. You guys should consider finishing of the motor box and providing aluminum spacer washers for different size engines. And dont bother plumbing the tank most people check them anyway. And many will mount tank in the tunnel
I didn't like the vent setup and needed longer line my tygon was larger diameter and would not fit through provided fueler. But like I said love the plane and would purchase from RC Pilot in the future
thank you for your advise.
we welcome all the feedback. it is very important to improve our product.
I think I should make an investigating with the fuel tank and fuel dot.
thank you so much.

Scags, did you not tighten the axle nut tight or did it come loose? Looks like possible galling of thin chrome layer in axle? Interesting, I'll have to keep an eye on mine.

Steve,
Earier you posted the equipment you are going to use and I'm wondering why you listed that you are going to use three matchboxes. You should only need one for each wing on this plane. Did I miss something? Just curious.

What radio are you two using. If you are using a 9303 or dx7 or just about any 9 ch radio split up the elevators like the aelirons so if you loose one ch on the elevator you have the other ch for a back up to get the bird in. That is how I set my planes because you never know.

Never heard of actually loosing a channel. Anything is possible, but this has to be extremely rare. Unless someone is constantly pulling the connector in and out of the receiver. (I don't do that.)
But thanks for the advice. BTW, has this ever happened to you?

Steve it has not happened to me but has happen a few times here where we fly at. I don't know why or what the cause was but i like the redundancy of having the back up. I also like the fact if your elevators up and down travel is not right you can set your end point travels to fix that problem if you are using two chanels if the linkage is just not right. This is what I do and it leaves me less to worrie about.

We use DX7 or 9303 and it is not needed as you use aux1 for aileron and aux 2 for elevator.
Like Greg said redundancy and added ability for programing. Have heard of servo problem causing loss of both servos on elevator even though its rare, still piece of mind. Plus less components in airplane for failure and less money spent on matchbox. I was just curious why you listed three as I mean no criticism to it.Remember these threads show how people achieve same goal thru different means and everyone learns something.
Keep up the build, looking good
Dan
