First Project was the Rear landing gear bays. Light modifications to reinforce/cover exposed areas, & run wires for nav lights/servo leads.

For this project Im using an Aerovate 45cc rear-inducted 2st Gasser. It's I bit smaller than
the DA-DL50cc and lighter by a few oz. Hp is 4.3 w/o muffler/ing/bolts its 48oz.

Access the Air harness/gage and other switches/volt meters to be hidden. Hatch will have Earthmagnets to hold door.

The Fuze is All Fiberglass Composit as with the wing tips, belly pan, elevader fins, dorsle fins, cowl Ext. Canopy was hard to cut - the plasitc is kinda briddle - be carfull
! Wings, Stab and control serfaces are all nicely built up balsa. I reinforced the servo trays, some where a little flimsy for H-T servos

Rear servo tray was loose, re-epoxied it with small reinforcments for flex. Used some aluminum stock for the lower rudder hing

I really like the KMP planes just wish they were slightly larger 80"+. I have their P-38 with twin Zenoah G20ei's.

They'er not the most gravity freindly but Beautiful offerings, the pc21 is a
big plane 1/5 scale w/the spinner - 91.3". wings smallish 71" but they'er A-semetrical w/ quite a bit of area & very light - Its bigger looking than my 88" yak - same wieght 15-16#. before I butcher the cowl - considering a DA50cc w/4blade 18x10 Zinger & carbon fiber pipe. 18"-19" prop is about all she'll take. if anyone has imput on gas engines///// & battery weight might have to come down from 3 A123 2300mah. other gas engine is the Evo 40 or 45cc,

I was thinking Power 160 electric and a 5 blade prop. Would be very cool. Just can't bring myself to buy those big batteries and 3-4 of them for a fun day at the field.
