HI,
I am building a 101 QQ yak and have run into a problem. I can't figure out the landing gear mounting. The 4 ouside holes go into some aluminum angle iron but the metal isn't tapped and there isn't a blind nut installed. What should i do to solve this? Also, the two center holes have blind nuts but, it feels like the provided bolt is standard and the blind nut is metric or vice versa. Thanks! Last edited by KnowCrashes; 06-14-2009 at 01:32 PM. |

The four outside holes need a nylon lock nut on it. I believe the kit's provided bolts were to short. I had to replace them. The inside ones worked out ok. It's probably metric, I didn't have any trouble with the inside ones. The inside ones are suppose to be shorter in the event of a tuned pipe install. That way the pipe won't hit the screws.
