CHATTANOOGA 3D JAM JULY 31st, AUGUST 1st AND 2nd

Here we go guys. I would like to get this posted so you guys can get it on your calender!!
The Chattanooga 3D Jam will be July 31st, August 1 and August 2. It will be at the Chattanooga Radio Control Club in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Now before i put this one on the list i have a few questions.Can i fly with my long chrome po,or is this 2.4 only ?? Is the runway grass or concrete or other ?? What direction does the wind normally blow in reference to the runway ??(can ya tell i have not learned cross wind landings)How long is the grass ?? How much does it cost for the no landing fee ?? Are high school dropouts allowed ?? Can you fly if you are a known felon ?? Is it ok to hand launch 40%ers ?? Is flying over the pits allowed ?? Is there any noise restrictions(i like to fly with no mufflers at all,open heads baby) Are snowcone machines allowed at your field ?? I will give you a chance to respond to these and then i will post the rest......This sounds like a BLAST Clark.

Here are some directions. I will go by the field and get cordinates also.

The link above shows directions to "Old Woodland Drive". Those of you with GPS units can plug that road name in and just go to the end of the road (very short road) and end up at the gate.

From Areas North of Chattanooga (Knoxville area)

1. Take I-75 South
2. Take exit #11/US-11 NORTH/US-64 EAST toward OOLTEWAH - go 0.2 mi
3. Turn on LEE HWY - go 0.4 mi
4. Turn on LITTLE DEBBIE PKY - go 0.1 mi
5. Turn on OLD LEE HWY - go 2.4 mi
6. Turn on APISON PIKE - go 0.2 mi
7. Turn on PATTENTOWN RD - go 0.3 mi
8. Turn on WOODLAND DR - go 1.0 mi
9. Turn on OLD WOODLAND DR - go 0.2 mi
10. Go to end of road where you will see the entrance gate.

From Areas South of Chattanooga (Atlanta area)

1. Take I-75 North
2. Take exit #7A/TN-317 EAST onto OLD LEE HWY toward COLLEGEDALE/SUMMIT - go 2.3 mi
3. Turn on APISON PIKE - go 0.2 mi
4. Turn on PATTENTOWN RD - go 0.3 mi
5. Turn on WOODLAND DR - go 1.0 mi
6. Turn on OLD WOODLAND DR - go 0.2 mi

From Areas West of Chattanooga (Nashville area)

1. Take I-24 EAST into Chattanooga
2. Take exit #185B onto I-75 NORTH toward KNOXVILLE - go 6.3 mi

Curtis you can fly anything you want. You hover the Vapor over me while I hover the 110" Yak and the Vapor can keep me cool.
