Default Morback and Mamo 4D

Yesterday I flew the Morback without a problem using the 9050 and the 8040 prop. I tried today just using the Mamo 9 inch prop locked in a forward twisted position with out a servo. It would barely fly, kept sinking and had to use full throttle which started to over heat the motor. Really don't get it. Using an Eflite park 300 EFLM1150

Maybe its motor power. I'm gonna try it on my Evolution with it 150 watt motor and see if the Mamo prop will fly it. Don't think you can build the Mamo wrong. Hope the rain stops! Any suggestions? Ron
