First of all, Great choice on plane. 2nd, Yes. The cover will fit like a glove on the CA260. All of the plane wrapper covers are made with your type of plane in mind. There is no such think as a basic cover for a 40% size plane. Just try to put the 40% 260 cover on a 40% Am yak. It does not even come close to fitting. When your ready just go to the web site, www.planewrappers.com and fill out the order info form and we will build it. Also, The BIG news. and only for the Flying Giants family. In preparation for the 4th. of July holiday, Choose one of the three discounts for orders placed between now & July 4th. 1) Stars & Stripes covers for the same price as solid color. 2) Free Embroidery of the Pilots Name, or 3) Free shipping on all US orders. Just mention you saw this on the Giants when you fill out the Order request. Looking forward to talking with you buzz, Monty |

These are cool covers, but $120 bucks for a 30% size cover.. I think that's way overboard.. But hey, just my opinion..
I'll buy a beach towel for $5 -10 bucks thank you very much..Sure it don't even cost near $120.00 to produce them. Sorry to sound negative but have to say it like I see it.. Think its a rip=off. Think $30 to 60 range would be more like it. |

Hi LookNatU2,
I can appreciate your opinion, but have you even priced the cost of the material? I don't think you can even buy this much bathing suit material in the range you are looking at.... to say nothing of having a custom fit cover for the whole plane that doesn't blow off. Take a closer look at what this is going to do for you vs. a beach towel... you'll find some temperature measurements someone took at the beginning of this thread. A beach towel may fit your needs in Cedar Rapids but definitely won't meet mine in Florida. I've been able to compare to another manufacture's version, I'm quite happy to pay the asking price for this! Buzz |

Whew.....
Easy now, where all friends here. LooknatU2, ....pretty harsh words there, but I do respect your view on my products. FYI, The materials used can not even be purchased for the dollar amount you are suggesting. I agree with you though. You should go ahead and use the beach towel. I would be happy to send you one if you cant find them in Iowa. Don't get mad and slam me again, just having a little fun. : ) Monty |

Ok, If your saying your material cost upwards to $60 dollars to cover a 30% plane then I was way off. That would be 50% in material cost and would assume another 30% in production and such cost to leave you a 20% profit sounds right. Only you know the real underlying cost and if you feel $120.00 for a 30% plane cover ir fair amoung all "us friends" here then so be it.
My best wishes for you. More then i'd pay and that being said buyers do seem to be happy with the end results of keeping their planes cooler. I have an idea?? Make me one for head to keep it cooler when I think... ![]() Best Regards. |

Looknatu2 - I think you've found your next business opportunity. Prove what your saying and come out with a product of the same quality and half the price. I'm sure you'll have many takers.

the way i see it, even with a 30% plane your going to have to buy atleast 4 beach towles to cover your plane. then every time the wind blows your ganna have to go put them back on your plane. what a pain!! just buy a cover, put it on and forget about it. keeps your plane cool, puts it in the shade, looks good too. what more can you ask for. the way i see it thats a steal for $120. and no hassel.
proud owner of a cover 42% velox thanks monty keep up the good work, theres always one buzz kill in every group!! |
