Wow that is one BEAUTIFUL airplane! Christen Eagles have always been gorgeous airplanes- and to see that model reminds me how bad I have wanted one! Nice!

The Large Sukhoi was sold a few years back. We lost interist with it after finding the Hempel planes.

Flight wires installed, fuel lines installed, fuel dots installed, prop and spinner drilled and fitted, radio installation completely finished, servo travel set and matched & engine was started for the first time. She is definitely not lacking in the HP department.

Building is officially complete on the Christen eagle

She is ready to fly minus a few cosmetic items, we are going to powder coat the spinner white and install the engine baffles.

Thanks, I do not have any high res detail pics just yet. My dad does not plan to roll her out of the garage untill she is 100% done, right now we are about 98%.... As soon as it's wrapped up I will get lots of pics and videos posted.

I may even mount my GoPro HD camera on her for the first flight

The CE is my favorite bipe. Looking forward to seeing this Eagle fly?

I've been looking at this EMHW kit for a while and hope I can include it in my hanger someday. Question for you guys though...do you know if they kit in a CEII version (I would love to see one of these with the "2-place" canopy?

As far as I know thay do not make a 2 seater version. That is what I was looking for when I got mine. However the kit could be modified by adjusting a couple of top wing ribs. EMHW provides a large enough lexan canopy that you could adjust the cockpit opening to make it a 2 place cockpit. Hope this helps thay are a beautiful plane when finished.

I built a dash panel for my dads Christen Eagle. Here is what I ended up with. The LED lights are for the ignitions so they do light up.
