You may have too much down thrust on the engine

My friend said the same thing but when I put the plane straight vertical and go to full throttle It doesn't pitch to the wheels but slightly toward the canopy.
Also I worked on the torque roll again today and we made some progress with the plane.
All I can say is that manuver is a royal pain in the butt.
He also said that it's a difficult plane to torque roll but everyone says the 40% Carden Edge is one of the easiest.I can't quite figure that one out just yet.

What size PAU Ege do you have? Do you have any mixes programed into your Tx? Is your cg at the recommended spec?

I have the 30% Edge with a DL 50.No mixes programed into the TX.
The CG seems good. When I roll inverted its almost hands off.
If I add any additional up thrust it will pull to the canopy at full throttle going vertical.
I'm really baffled on this.

What does it do when you do a verticle downline at idle (does it pull to the canopy or lg)? If it pulls to the canopy you can add a mix so that when at idle it will apply enough down elevator to keep it straight. That should get rid of what you are seeing now.

I had more up thrust in the plane before but I took some out because it was pulling to the canopy slighly in the vertical.

Well I covered all that I could think of, sorry. Hopefully someone with more experience can help you out. I am interested to find out as well, you never know one may come across this in the future. To me, if the downline is straight then when flying a horizontal straight line and you go to idle it should continue to go straight.

Your help is appreciated and this thing has me baffled but when I figure it out (Hopefully tomorrow) I'll post here what the issue was.
Thanks

I went out to the field today with the PAU Edge and tried the straight down line and the plane holds is track. What I ended up doing was add a slight throttle to elevator mix and that solved the nose pitching up.

Is the mix on a switch? If it is always on, what does the plane do when you do the verticle downline now?
