Next weekend Will be great. Chapman,Holland and the angels are coming to the Binghamton NY airshow July 4 and 5. Never seen Matt or Rob fly in person but I have seen the BA fly about 15 years ago in Elmira. As I remember it was awesome. Hope the weather holds out. Any other giants going to the show??

Wow!
I don't know how I missed this but it looks like a great show. Here is a link with info on the show. http://binghamton.schultzairshows.com/ Looking for a hotel now. It is a 3 hour drive I have to make with my 9 year old son. Easy for me but he will loose it if we have to do the round trip in one day. I may go both days. My wife is thrilled. She gets to stay home, put her feet up, and enjoy the quiet. Thanks for the post ROBC! |

I just saw the Blue Angels in Wisconsin a few weeks ago. Those guys are incredible. I'm totally addicted to the sound of the jet turbine thunder and crunch. Can't get enough. The stuff they pull off is incredible.

ROBC, were you there last year? Any tips on where to sit? Is it better to arrive very early or are all the seating areas OK? Any fireworks shows up there I can take my son to see?

Sorry Hiway, I haven't ever been to the airshow down there before. This will be my first year even though I am only 40 minutes away.

At the show now. Sitting at the fence in front of the B-25. I have a white Harley Davidson of Tokyo t shirt on. My son can't wait for it to start. I can't either!

No one came by to say hi but that's OK. Too busy watching the sky. It was a little cold and windy but everyone put on a great show.

I wish I saw your post while I was there, I would've stopped by. Awesome show though wasn't it? Matt Chapman was awesome as always, Rob Holland was SICK! Glad the skies really cleared up once the Blue Angels took to the air. Hopefully I can upload some picks later

Scott, Me and my wife were right where you guys were during the blue angels demo. Matt chapman and Rob Holland were great. The double hammerhead Rob pulled on his flight was really cool to see along with the Harrier hover.
