Default 3D PILOTS "WANTED" Fly-in

Whats up everybody. Just wanted to announce that our club, The Millington Barnstormers in Millington,Tn is hosting a 3D FunFly on JULY 8th 2006. We are looking for anyone that loves hanging out and flying with fellow 3D pilots. Any 3D capable model is welcome to fly no matter the size. We will try and keep the airways clear for larger scale birds that show. Please help us this year in coming and supporting 3D! Last year we didn't have the participation that we hoped for but with the Flying Giants I think (we) can help represent 3D flying. Attached is the event photo, if you want information and can come please don't hesitate emailing me. avcales@bellsouth.net or anthony_cales@hilton.com the club's website is www.mbsrcc.com look under events.

Thanks
Anthony Cales

Cool thanks for helping me get this going. I want it to be a fun fly-in and everyone to have a good time. MEMPHIS MAFIA when did this name come about?

On another note, does anyone know how I can get donations from hobby vendors for raffles and things? I have two hobby shops committed and I tried to email Hitec, Horizon, GreatPlanes and sent a letter to DA (Dave). I want to have some good stuff to give away you know. Nobody has responded yet, I sent the emails first of last week. Thanks for the help!

I got family in Bardstown,KY. You are close to my dad's hometown. Yeah thats at least 7 to 8 hours I would think. Come anyways, its only mileage/time/gas did I say GAS !!! That would make anyone not want to drive.

Just wanted to notify anyone thinking of coming to bring your glow/foamie as well. We plan on having some fun events for glow and foamies! Events will be fun fly type events, heck we may even be able to come up with something good for the winner of each. Events will be confidential until the day of the flyin. Don't want you fun fly champs out there practicing!

Cool deal, we welcome you sir! Should be fun, we are also having a scale warbird type event in Oct. The Belle classic, Event flyer is on our website www.mbsrcc.com under events. 3D is prohibited in that event though. Trying to please both crowds you know. Let me know if you need a mapquest to the field.

One other thing, for anyone planning on coming from out of town try to let me know within the next week or so. I am working on discount rates at local hotel close to the flying field. Or you can camp at the field Friday night. Your choice.

Thanks

Good Deal, Thanks. Are you the one that purchased Terry's 40% Extra? That was a sweet plane! I wish I could have gotten that 35% edge he had.
