I Love This Thead Two Thumbs up Mike. I love planes, birds, and anything that has wings, to me all of these represent height, freedom, and excitment. Tinny birds, to giant birds love all of them the same. A broken one a crashed one, a new one, an old one all the same for me. A fast one a slow one anything goes for me. I have had the pleasure to romance in this country and make a ton of friends, with the FG family as my newest addition. Making friends is my pleasure.

My name is Ben and I'm 27 years old. I started flying in the spring of 2004 but I've been in the hobby for longer. I got interested when I was around 14 and built a Goldberg Eagle 2 trainer. Just had to finish the controls but never did it. Finally got it done and set up when I was 19 and my uncle who "had been flying every weekend" convinced me we should fly it. My parents have 20 acres or so to fly over so I figured why not. Well, he crashed it into the house on Thanksgiving day 2001. He got a Hobbico Avistar for me as a replacement and I didn't fly it until a few years later when I got tired of looking at it in my closet. I was hooked! I enjoy IMAC and 3D and I'm still in school getting my Ph.D. in Plant Breeding and Genetics at Texas A&M. I also enjoy fishing and hockey.

My Name is Nelly!! I'm 17 years old and I started flying when I was 14. I really like flying....I try to make it to all the events that I can! I learned how to fly on a really heavy pink Spad that my dad built for me. Then, after I soloed and got better at flying I retired my pink Spad and then moved up to a 27% Edge 540. About 5 months after I got my edge 540 my dad built my a Spad 540 is which one of the best planes I have flown yet!! Then, for my 17 b-day I recieved a 27% Air willd Edge 540, which I am building and covering with my dad.

Last year, I flew at the Ohio Huckfest (where I got to fly with my #1 Idol Snap!) and I will be flying this year at the 2010 Joe Nall!!

I really do have to thank my Dad for taking the time to teach me to fly and putting up with me LOL, and I have to thank my mom for taking pictures and video for my flying. Without the support of my Parents, my sister and my wonderful Flying Giants Family I don't think I would have ever got as far as I have.

Yes, I used to race both 125cc, and 250cc classes. On more than have the gate held while I switched bikes. A friend would take second bike to the line and get my gate set and stomp my line, start my bike and wait until I could grab fresh goggles a quick swig of water and throw a leg over. Always funny to see people trip out on a guy with shorts and a shirt on the gate..

My name is Stacy, but I'm not a chick lol. Started flying in the early 80's with Dad who was a Expert/Masters pattern guy back in the day. Love this hobby like no other, though I do enjoy fishin and huntin. Got bit with the GS bug in the late 90's and never looked back. FG keeps me sane during the long Canadian winters. They call me FastnLow cause I use to cut the grass with the prop on my old Tiporare during high speed flyby's.

I'm Bob from Baltimore. I run a family property management business, and my wife does our leasing. About 10 years ago we assumed the management of a shopping center with a Hobbytown located in it. My wife met with the owner to discuss his lease, and she came back to the office and told me I had to check the store out because of the planes. She may very well regret that, because I did check it out, went to the local field and immediately became an avid addict.

Got my first giant last year (BVM Edge 540 w/DA 100). Every time I fly, I need more and more!!
Went to the Snap-A-Huckfest last year at Gardner Airport and had the pleasure of meeting Snap himself, as well as a bunch of other guys who I see lurking around these pages from time to time. I can't wait to meet up with them and more at a huckfest this year. I don't think I can make Gardner, but I'm hoping to make Tampa in September. Maybe an IMAC or IMAA event too. I need the smell of exhaust - Nitro/Gas...who cares.
