Chief has them on the 27% and the 40% ......we were going to have them on all , but we were a little to late for the change ..They all will be balanced from here out ..........

I just received my 50cc extra 260 friday, no counter balance on it either. The new shipping containers are sweet. Everything is in excellent condition. Tried to start building yesterday, but family is in town, I got yelled at

Got my 30% 260 today. I can't friggin wait to get this beauty in the air.

Where did you get yours? It must of been from Chief, because of the wings being trimmed the same??

Actually, I got mine from paragon r/c up here in Canada. I believe he got his shipment straight from pilot.

I got mine today. I am a second member of the Pilot club. I have the 30% 260 I got from Troy Built Models. This is the 73" I got from Chief. Notice there are counter balances. My guess is that Chief requested them. Don't know that for sure.
I can not believe the quality workmanship of these planes and there strength and lightness and at a good price.
I feel sorry for the Carden Company.

I guess you really have to like to build. With there kits do you get any of the hardware????

Tony designed the 73" 260 with counter balances on the elevators.

Just ordered my 35% extra 260 in the yellow hunter scheme from Tony at Pilot, he is a really great guy to deal with. I ordered the combo with the TMM 106. Plane is shipping out next week. Looking forward to the build and the new engine.

I just confirmed, only 26% and 40% from Chief have Counter Balance elevator. However, I can order them directly from Pilot if I want to... Will it make that big of difference to have Counter Balance on the elevator? I know with flips and 3D it will help...
