I would imagine, I only have tried it on the DA 100, but from what I hear, this thing runs just as good. The 12 pitch will fly it a little faster than a 10 and quieter. We were using Vess 27B's for a long time, I tried a 27A and it pulled like a beast but slowed way down and was LOUD. On my 170 I bought a Mej. 32x10 and used it and then some friends in the know suggested a 30x12 and holy cow did it come alive. Now, I can hover using throttle instead of hovering at an idle. But my plane is only 36lbs, so that present different problems for me than people with normal 40% yaks.

Good info Mike, thanks a bunch. BTW, which Yak do you have? I read it somewhere but don't remember. 36lbs with a 170 is insane! Thats cool as hell. Did you do any lightening of the plane? Sorry, I can't remember.

Yup, old habit I have when wings are dark at front. I put a tad of orange or any visible color on wingtips so I can see wings on landing with trees in background. Works very well for me.

Just curious. Is Justin flying mode 1 or mode 2?

He is very talented at this age. Amazing. Can't imagine how good he'll be when he is 12. Unbelievable.

Hey Tony do you have any other pics of the Pilot RC Hellcat. Seems like no one has one yet?

Also are you guys planning any other warbirds?

A P51 Mustang would be nice

Don't have a picture but my throttle servo is on the bottom side of the motor box and the linkage is about 6 inches long.

Here are some pictures.

If it wont go under/in the motorbox, you can put it anywhere you want and use a Nyrod. Here is a pic of mine I set up last year, it right under the left rx.

3dAndrew

Justin was primarily helis only for past 2.5 years. We went to the Huckfest because he started getting interested in the planks again. This year I got him his own gasser to keep him interested. But, because it is new, he is being cautious as he gets used to his new airplane. Hopefully he will get more comfotable by the tme we get to the huckfest.

See you there.
