But, because it is new, he is being cautious as he gets used to his new airplane. Hopefully he will get more comfotable by the tme we get to the huckfest.

See you there.
If what we saw in that video was caution, we're all in very big trouble!

I saw the draft of this scheme you did a while back. It came out really nice. The pic of the plane hovering shows just how cool the scheme is. Scags is working on a new scheme for me. It will be on a 100cc 260. Pilot-RC of course.

Would you mind doing the build here? I'm sure I speak for everyone when asking this. Thanks for sharing. I'm also anxious to see the build pics.

Can one of you guys with a Pilot 300 post a pic of the side of the fuse? Preferably the lower part of the fuse. Thanks.

Thanks for the pics of the internals. I've decided to go with a rail system at the bottom of the motor box to mount the throttle and choke servos. Since the Pilot Yak has the floor in the middle of the box rather than at the bottom, I will have to build a rail structure just below it in order to miss the motor mount screws with the pushrod. I've used the nyrod and even the carbon before and found that they do move a little with heat and humiditiy. Plus I really want a rigid connection to the throttle. I will be using an extra 5955 servo. That coupled with the new 6014HS should give an immediate tactile feeling to throttle input.

I will share some pics of the plane soon.

Well, my repair on the fuse doesn't look quite right to me. I was wondering if the bottom of the fuse on your plane is completely straight. I may have heated the covering too much. I hate building and repairs!.

Looks great!

I noticed you're using a optical ignition cutoff. Which one are you using and also where can I get that round plastic piece that the LED is secured in?

The Opto Switch is from Electrodynamics http://electrodynam.com/rc/EDR-107/index.shtml I like it because you can program it to work from your trim control and save a channel on your receiver, although right now I have it on a separate channel. The LED is mounted in a standard large rubber grommet I got at ACE hardware.
