I was shocked when I checked the DHL tracking on my Extra today and said that it was on the truck out for delivery. Tony had just shipped it out last Wednesday that’s only three days from China to Seattle Wow!

Well I received the fuse but no wings; they said they should be rolling in Monday. That’s fine I’m not ready for them yet anyway.

The plane was packed very well however the fuse did have two broken stringers on the bottom just in front of the rudder. No biggie considering it made it here from China in only three days that’s no so bad.

pls take more photos of damage of bax and plane and send to me. contact with DHL to claim the damage on Monday. we had bought insurance for each plane. DHL should pay for any damage. I will also contact with DHL for the compensation. we will also conpensate to you. pls email me.
I am so sorry with the damage. we use this package way for a few months, there is no problem in the last two months. but it seems DHL did bad work recently and slowly delivery recently. I am talking with them about too much issue.
and we are working on new package box. pls see the following, I believe it will be better.

Looks good Tony. Will the 100-150cc planes be packaged in these boxes? Also, the new factory looks much larger. Looks like it has better lighting too.

Probably Thursday. Won't be too may people at the field. A friend gave me a couple matchboxes. I needed one for the tail. I'll set that up, solder a nipple on the carb and then fly.

Anyone out there have any flights on the 35% 300? If so how is it? I'm looking at it or the 40% for my next buy...

Don't worry. My stringers that are cracked are my own fault from transporting to the flying site. Will replace them with carbon tube that will not crack. The ones on the bottom front of the fuse are pretty short.

Where did you get the idea for the scheme? Is it totally your design? Nice colors.

Well the top of wings and fuse was a design I used for many years in the 70's and 80's on many pattern planes from my first kaos to my last pattern plane I had, a atlanta. Back then the bottom
of the wings were the standard checker pattern but now I fine the 2 big black lines show up better. I have done it in different colors over the years but now I like yellow and red. shows up
well for my older eyes. The round cut out in the tail is where I used to number all my planes in order.
The color on this one will be bright yellow and flame red.
The round parts in the wing will also go real well with the graphics I have designed for it.
So I hope this will answer your question After more than 30 years I think its my design

Btw I like yours where did you get your design from ie is there a story behind yours?
