Default lateral balancing

I would like to know how people check the lateral balance of the plane when it's airborne.
Also is there a way to get it in the ball park on the ground?
Would you check this from the prop hub, or the true center of the plane?

we check from holding up the prop and using something like a philips screwdriver under the tail of the fuse, just before the rudder. seems to be better than just the tail wheel. duno if thats as accurate as a "true center" of the nose.

to check in flight its a matter of ale trim of the heavy wing for canopy vs inverted flight.
if the plane fly's fine upright, then inverted a wing dips, add weight to the opposite tip that drops inverted.
thats cause the heavy wing will have trim added to it to push it up during level flight, when going inverted the heavy wing is now being pushed down.

Another way is to pull a verticle line, push over the top and let the model build speed at idle for 3-4 secs. Then to level pull hard on low rates add weight to the wing that doesn't drop. You have to do this 5-10+ times to make sure you have the correct wing.

Also you have to make sure your elevators are travelling perfectly as well!
