Unable to find my manual for my DA170 need the amount of torque they recommend on the prop bolts? Thanks

my manual (dated 09/08) says 75 in-lbs. I think an older manual specified something different. I have scanned my manual into 7 JPG files I can email to you if you want. send me your email.

I have been using 110 in/lbs. This was stated somewhere on this forum.

yeah, I think I remember that thread. As I recall we determined that the latest print of the manual had 75. I believe the 170 originally came with a hub similar to the 150 with 5 mm bolts. My hub is larger with 6 mm bolts. Maybe this caused the change. I don't think you would have any trouble with 110 in-lbs as long as the prop is not crushed and the bolts don't strip the aluminum threads from the holes.

110 inch-lbs would be limit for the high grade bolt M6x1. Wood crushing however would limit the torque to lower values, so do not use ham-fisted values in your own application. Avoid blonde woods, so you can torque these bolts properly.
