Default DA85 carb???

i just happen to notice that my carb numbers have been scratched off is anybody elses the same way. my carb is the orignal one from da. but in trying to find a overhaul kit and looking for the numbers they have been scratched off looks like an electric pencil, or what ever you call it. is mine the only one???? and why?? only on my 85

Maybe they wan`t you to order the parts through them , hoping that you dont or cant find the actual kits cheaper else where my 2cents

sounds abit fishy to me. why would the serial number be removed other than maybe this walbro is not a genuine made in japan carby, it could be a copy . yes there are walbro copies as to dellorto.

It IS a real Walbro, just call DA and ask for the number...Why is it off ?? They all are..Beats me...

My DA-100 has the numbers scratched off as well. i would like if DA can chime in with an answer. there must be something to hide or esle why would someone sit there scratching out all these numbers on every engine?

Chiming in. Walbro # WJ-71 is used on the DA100 and DA85.
Buy a carb kit from your local carb dealer, or from us ($6.00)
