Interestingly enough, Quique was running a non-production 32D on his DA-200 with 4 Greves pipes! Bob Truworthy was using a production 32D on his 3W-212 powered Pyfhon, too. Although these props were not designed for that displacement, they did a reasonable job of absorbing that power while making tremendous thrust. Quique said he loved the pulling power but I noticed it was a little loud at high RPM's during his demos. It's OK though since I have some 33 and 34 inch versions for him to test now that will match much better and should be quieter.

It was great to see the pythons at the Nall. Cool to meet a lot of you guys as well. Amazing that we ust completed teh full size python March 21 and already there are so many models of it. Quique's airplane really worked well. I can't wait to see what comes next!

Hi Kevin
It was nice meeting you at the Nall, glad you had a good time, no matter how big we make the models, nothing beat the real model 12 which is a one bad ass airplane. I have never seen one but hopefully I get to see one in November. Kallin had a great time also, he even told me he will be bringing a plane next year Elie

Elie,
It was nice to meet you too. You special yak front seat pilot was very skilled and added a real touch of class to your airplane. Kal is already planning for Joe Nall next year. He got pretty keyed up watching all you guys fly while he had to sit on his thumbs! He did work pretty hard helping Tom and Bob with their airplanes which he really enjoyed. Your visit here in November will be here befor you know it. Kevin |

Mr. Kimball,
It was a pleasure meeting you. I would like to thank you for spending your time and efforts to design the new Python with QuiQue. It is people like yourself, in the full scale world with the technical knowledge and knowhow, that are going to further advance aerobatics as a whole regardless of the aircraft being models or the real thing. I thank You for listening to the master of our sport and trying something new. I hope that this will be the start of an entirely different breed of aerobatic aircraft. Some full scale pilots do not have the time of day to listen to what we might have to say about aerobatics, but a relationship like this will only further the development of the Python and other aircraft on both sides. Hope to see you in November. Thank You, Mark Leseberg Jr.

QuiQue was telling us that he can do a rolling verticle figure 8 at half power with the plane, he said it just has awesome power with the DA 200 and greves pipes.
That plane is just beautiful.

Mark,
Enough with the Mr. Kimball stuff! For a minute there, I thought My Dad was at the Nall too and I didn't know it. I know I am older than you but not THAT much! For me, it is all about cool airplanes. Large, small, all the same. Now after about 10 years away from R/C, it feels great getting involved again. There are lots of cool airplanes on the horizon. It's goona be a fun ride. Drop me an email when you have a chance. Kevin (Not Mr. Kimball) www.jimkimballenterprises.com www.pittsmodel12.com www.pittspython.com |

Kevin, wanted to thank you for being at the Nall and for stepping up to the microphone! Having the guy who know's most about the plane talking about it was a real hoot. Now when do I get a ride in a Pitts 12?????? Bob Sadler
PS,,welcome back to the hobby! Looks like your son is pretty well hooked! |

Bob,
I had fun getting to know you at the Nall. Glad to help out and thanks for the welcome back into the hobby. Kallin and I will be back next year and he plans on flying during the event. He soloed R/C June 2004 and has been flying a bunch ever since. He flies here at our grass strip where we live and have our shop. He is hooked and seeing the high quality flying at the Nall really got him fired up. As for a ride in a Pitts model 12, all you have to do is be at the right place at the right time. Drop me an email and I can give you a few options. Kevin www.jimkimballenterprises.com www.pittsmodel12.com www.pittspython.com |
