Default Powerbox Competition - using extension cables.

Anyone have any experience of lengthening the leads between a Powerbox unit and the receiver using extension cables.? Would it reduce the effectiveness of the unit or add other problems. I have an installation that could do with extra length, probably 200mm. Closed loop cables for the rudder are right in the way of the ideal installtion so I may have to space things out a bit.

No problem. I have seen it done several times without issue.

The newer generation P/B don't have the leads fitted but have connectors. Powerbox offer lead sets up to 40cm long.

Shouldn't be a problem...You can order them with any length lead you desire...I believe the ECU ones come with at least 24" leads

Cheers for that guys, looks like an order for seven 200mm extension leads is just what needed
