I just had a sulivan stopper do the same thing now I have one more I'm testing, so far no problems with durbol

So far, replacing the disintegrated fuel stopper with a Dubro gas stopper is working well (albeit not enough to tell the reliability of long term stability).

Good to know the ARF tanks aren't worth taking a chance on. I've always used these:
