July 18th and 19th....
With less than two weeks to go, we're getting everything ready for another event in Browns IL. We have a few pilots already preregistered and have had many "new to IMAC" showing interest. Here are a couple of links to maps to the field, and if there are any other questions, feel free to post or PM, and I'll return them ASAP.. http://www.thepropbusters.com/map2.html http://www.thepropbusters.com/map.html THE FIELD IS LOCATED 3/4 OF MILE NORTH OF STATE ROUTE 15 AT BROWNS IL . BROWNS IS LOCATED ABOUT 12 MILES WEST OF MT CARMEL IL. TURN NORTH ON COUNTY RD 900E AT THE FS ANHYDROUS PLANT. YOU WILL SEE THE FIELD WHEN YOU REACH COUNTY ROAD 1000N. RIGHT TURN ON 1000N THEN LEFT TURN INTO THE PARKING AREA. THIS IS A PRIVATE AIR FIELD THAT IS 4000 FT LONG AND 100 FT WIDE . THE ELEVATION IS 418 FT. THE UNICOM FREQUENCY AT THE FIELD IS 122.8 MHz WE FLY OFF OF THE SOUTH END. You can always search Albion IL. or MT.Carmel IL. on Mapquest and that will get you within 10min. of the field. My cell is (618) 445-1352 and I'll have it on me. My plan is to be out at the field early on Friday so come on out any time...

Camping's not a problem. We have a good spot for tents and there is plenty of room for campers and RVs' , but there are no hookups.
Here is a link to the area hotels as well: http://www.mapquest.com/maps?1c=Brow...::701101::1:/e The best restraunts will be located in Princeton IN. (about 20 min.) but there is good food in Mt.Carmel (about 10 min.) as well . For those of you coming from Indiana, the bridge from Princeton at Mt.Carmel is open so that way can be taken. (new bridge being built)
