Default Pacific Coast Freestyle Championships - Molalla, Oregon 7/23 - 7/26

This is a somewhat unique IMAC / FREESTYLE event. Basic gets their own day (Thursday), Friday and Saturday is the precision IMAC competition and Sunday is freestyle only.

This is an excellent way to get your feet wet in BASIC if you've not flown IMAC before.

WEB FLYER:

http://www.pacificcoastfreestyle.com/

Join us in Molalla, Oregon for one of the Nation's premiere model aerobatics contests Thursday July 23rd through Sunday July 26th.
Thursday - Saturday participants will be challenged with a variety of known and unknown precision IMAC aerobatics routines. Beginners are welcome on Thursday and more advanced classes are held Friday-Saturday.
The real excitement then begins when the top 12 pilots from the upper classes of the aerobatics contest are invited to participate in no-holds-barred freestyle showdown. The routines, choreographed to music, are often highly-energetic, exciting, and absolute crowd pleasers.
Past participants in the event are now "big names" in the R/C Aerobatics world, competing in the headliner events. Why travel to Tucson when you can see the same high-caliber flying in the Pacific Northwest!
Enjoy half-time shows with model helicopters, scale aircraft, and other unique aspects of radio-controlled modeling.
This event is guaranteed to be a enjoyable family outing. There is no charge for spectators of this event. Whether you are an avid modeler, aviation enthusiast, or just looking for some great family fun, these large models will interest and entertain you!

I should be going to the Washougal MX national on Saturday....but i may skip it again this year and just go to Molalla both days. I was going to be there on Sunday for sure , but who knows....maybe saturday to. The Washougal nat is always a pain in the A$$ to deal with. been going to it since 1981! Time for a change of pace i guess.

I'm going to be there Thursday, to get my plane tuned in to the altitude, and get some practice that evening, but while I'm there, I'm going to fly Basic. Then John W. will keep my plane there until Sunday. I'd like to fly in the IMAC, but we are Sabbath (Saturday) keepers, and I don't fly on that day. If only I could fly all my rounds on Friday. Oh well. It'll be a great time anyway! See ya' all there!

This is one top notch contest!!! It is the TAS of the Northwest and will continue to grow with the support of all IMACers. Grant and crew always make everybody feel as if they were the center of attention while drawing and audience from far away places.
Hats off to Grant and all!!!
I am looking forward to attending and competing
GO GODFREY OR GO HOME!!!
