Little bit more..

I got the left wing root leading edge fairing shaped and installed.. had to do a bit of filling to fill a few voids between the fairing block and the wing leading edge, so theirs still a little bit of finish work to do before calling it done. But I think it turned out exceptionally well.

Work so far today:
The inlet air spill doors have been cut out and made.. And i'm beginning work on the right side glove vane sheeting. So far its actually turning out to be much more simple than i thought it would be. I'm hoping to have atleast one complete glove vane sheeted before the end of the night.\

All I can say is WOW. Next time I get frustrated building an ARF Ill just take a look at this thread. I would have lost my patience cutting out the bulkheads.
Excellent work.

Little bit of progress so far today. Been sanding on the nose and upper fuselage spine section for about 2 hours along. Its getting pretty close to where i'm going to throw on a slurry coat of filler and water to fill in all the little stuff, do one last sanding with some 180 grit paper and then throw on a layer of 2oz glass just to stiffen the surface until I can get some 5oz stuff (without having to buy it from the local hobby shop at $13 a yard) that way i can flip the fuselage and so the sanding and filling on the bottom and sides of the nose and aft fuselage.

Other than that, i got the lower left forward glove sheeted and finished up the inner inlet side walls.

Last update for the day.. yea I haven't been doin much

Anyways, got the bottom of the right glove sheeted and started work on the left side. Did some more filling and sanding and more filling, but i ran out of wood filler, so i'll have to pick some up tomorrow. Also got out the box of litho and cut a small patch out to try a test on, this stuff is pretty easy to work with, but i can see it getting a bit more difficult with some of the curves on the jet (mostly thinking of the vertical tail fairings). I also threw in a picture of the foamy F-14 and the box of lithoplates..

No progress on the "big kitty" other than white washing and doing some wood filling. Got to looking at the wing fairing plate and they have a bow on the aft side, so i'm going to have to install a few extra pieces of wood to get them to lie flat, i also need to get some Carbon fiber tape about 4" wide so i can run the CF around the edges of the wing hatch and cut the hatch free from the rest of the fuselage.

Other than that, I have been working on the "little kitty". Its done and ready for its maiden flight. Once the maiden flight is complete, i'll go over the airframe and finish the panel lines, along with adding the wing fairing stiffners, Nomenclature and some weathering. So here are some pics for you guys:

I'm a little confused, every picture in this thread posted by the author comes through as a logo telling me to upgrade to pro today, exceeded bandwidth. Do I need to subscribe to photobucket to see these pictures?
