Storm Tunnel picture.....okay so i made that term up
had to show this pic as it probably will never happen again!! just zoom in to center and you can see what i mean, it was a good highlight to a long day.
PS it was taken with my phone so the quality isnt very good.

yeah there is a cloud layer on top of the picture, we were clear of the storm on the eastern side of it at dusk, the storm cells obscured most all the sunlight on our side until i saw that hole were as you can see it was still daylight on the other side, it was an awesome sight as we were in basically pitch black night while flying the weather radar when we saw this hole.

Great pic. one of the things I never tire of is seeing stuff like that at work. you manage to see quite an array of things that people just dont get to see and appreciate.
(looks like a 12 NG wingtip I see there too.)
