They are worth the extra few bucks, Check them out... http://costadelmar.com/

I got Costas too...both the green and blue mirror. Just like the guy says the green mirror are amber and dramatically enhance colors. The blue mirror are for the brightest days and were originally developed for offshore fishing. I try to wear the green mirror on low light and foggy mornings, also great for driving in the rain, and the blue mirror for bright sunny days...

Too much Baby Boomer/Old School left in me......... BIG FRIGGIN' RayBan Aviators that cover your eyes so well you could weld with them! Gold rim kind.... (Is there any other?) And none of that candy pants chrome lens stuff! Dark smoke..... I love flying real toys or model ones with them on..... Makes me start wanting to pop some popcorn and watch something black and white tonight!

I have a pristine -never worn pair I am ready sell. Bought two pair back in 1994 when I replaced a pair I left in a phone booth one waning evening (remember those nasty places? )
Yes, I still love em - but- between Costas (for flying and extreme sun) and Serengeti's (driving), I'd rather preserve the keepsake! Pm me if you want to "haggle".

Just received my BRIMZ today, i purchased the Black and Fire ones, very interesting concept, they seem to block out the suns rays if your not looking directly at the sun, which how often are any of us blatently staring at the big yellow one, im gonna give these a try for a bit, but i'd also like to try there Black Polarized ones also. I'll let you all know how they work out.

Just an interesting note. Ray-Ban, Persol, Oakley, and Revo are all made by the same people. I forgot the name of the company, but I know this is true.

LUXOTTICA owns all of those brands as well as others. However, it is entirely likely that they may have separate manufacturing facilities and methods. Oakley was only recently acquired
