I just bought a pair of Foster Grant "Sun Readers". These basically are cheap sunglasses ($15.00) that have +2.00 diopter lenses (and other powers) ground into them. Next trip to the flying field-They will be on my head.

When I fly- Costa Del Mar Black Fin!!
When I'm hanging in the sun- The new Foster Grants
When I'm driving -the Serengeti's if its raining or the Coata's whenever.
and the prescrips, all other times.

The F.Grants - I bought mine at the grocery store: & drug store typically.
Okay well life keeps getting more complicated as the hair folicils become even more scarce to create a part with.
Laugh now - but you too will get "here" as I use to snicker at the old fogey ways. Now I havin' em for my own - like it or not.

I've been using Model Glasses since last Summer and got the ones I could put my distance prescription in. Now I can actually see how bad my rolling circles are.......LOL
I also use the different shades for different conditions sometimes changing twice in one day.

Harry,

Below is a review I found recently. You may find it helpful. You get what you pay for with Zurich sunglasses.

Reza,

Topher Lee. I know a lot about sunglasses, a bit about airplanes and if inspired, will spread my knowledge where I can. Could you tell me more about the Flying Giants organization? I have been looking to become a greater part of the blog community, but can become apprehensive as a lot of forums and blogs are soap boxes for admin. Do you belong to any other av blogs/forums? If so, which ones as I am trying to find one that I can call home? Thanks Reza for your inquiry.

My 2-3 year old Coasta's started to separate at the nose bridge so I sent them in for (lifetime) warranty service.
Just received a BN replacement pair in the mail. Now I really feel good about the price paid.
Even better in 2 more years.
These are still my Early A.M. due East driving - and all time flying glasses without a doubt!

I've been happy with any old pair of cheapos just as long as they have amber lenses.
