Default Want to ask about Thrust 30

Hi,newbie here want to ask

is it okay if i use PA Thrust 30 Motor with a HiFei 45A ESC ?

this is the ESC spec

Quote:
  1. Microprocessor controlled
  2. Extremely low resistance
  3. 45A continous(65A surge)
  4. Up to 20 cells NiMH/NiCad or 2~6 cell Lithium-polymer
  5. High rate adjustable switching (PWM:8KHz/12KHz/16KHz)
  6. BEC: 3.5A (switching BEC)
  7. Support above 4 micro servos
  8. Programmable low voltage cutoff
  9. Programmable cutoff types (soft cutoff/hard cutoff)
  10. Programmable brake type (disable/soft brake/hard brake)
  11. Time advance programmable (low/standard/high)
  12. Programmable current limiting (very sensitive/standard/insensitive/disable)
  13. Governor mode(low rpm governor/high rpm governor)
  14. Programmable startup type (very soft start/soft start/fast start)
  15. Thermal Protection(100 centigrade)
  16. Apply to most of inrunner and outrunner brushless motors
  17. No complex programming, auto adapt work mode.
  18. A LED (flashes) indicates the current limiting or temperature protection actived.
  19. Runs motor in forward or reverse by swapping any two motor wire connections.
  20. Safe “power on” arming program ensures motor will not accidentally turn on.
  21. Auto shut down when signal is lost or radio interference becomes severe for more than 3 seconds .After radio connection has been reestablished, moving the throttle to the lowest position can restart the motor.
  22. The ESC is disabled when the voltage is over 26V at power-on

Default Re: Want to ask about Thrust 30

im not familiar with that esc, but the stats look right.
the thrust 30 max amp is 39 @ 3cell lipo, the esc stats shows it can handle that.
3.5a bec looks good to go.
