Probably get in a couple flights at OCMA today around 2pm as usual per Friday.

Saturday might go to Norco in the AM or OCMA around 4PM, or more than likely not fly at all, depends on how the day unfolds.

Sunday going to Norco in the AM
If I can work it out for Sunday @ Norco (if you don't mind) I'd like to get some help with the routine before Camarillo? Do you know if anyone else will be there that I can pick their brain for information.

I can't speak for Jason Benson, but if someone wanted a pointer and they were at Norco, then he is the one they would ask.

That's because he remembers clearly a trip back from Manhattan Beach one year......wrong turn and we were cruisin Figeroa. "Hmmmmmmmm" we said, "I don't think this was the right exit to Newport Beach!" A few illegal U-Turns and and few running-of-the-red-lights and we made it out with little more than elevated blood pressure and a little extra in the shorts.

Now, let's get this thread back on track. This is about TQ's 2009 Finale'....or one of them since he'll probably be at the Regionals in Nov. TQ is gonna kick my ass if I keep this up! :22a:

JB, I was thinking about an Impalla hood ornamant for the Yak too! Thoughts?

TQuist OUT!

It won't be the same without you Tony...

It'll be almost the same, except you won't be there, so technically it will be a little different.

Good seeing you in San Diego.

Camarillo will be open for practice on Friday, but no flying gas or glow before 9:OO, NO available practice on Saturday morning before the contest due to noise constraints, thanks, Frank O.

Heading out! Going to have to throw a roll of saran wrap over the Extra 260 for the drive out. Could get some monsoon action through the desert this afternoon. Looking forward to seeing everybody. Remember, these competitions are about nothing other than winning at all costs and making your opponents weep! LOL. Jk

As TQ so keenly pointed out........No money, No Women....The drive home on Sunday is the same regardless. Let's have a blast this weekend!!!

Brad you're too funny.
Be careful with that saran wrap. It might melt to your plane in that PHX he!!hole!

Well, looks like I won't make it to Camarillo this weekend after all. During practice my ZN-Line ejected the whole canopy, along with frame dash, and pilot. Despite hours of searching, even using a tractor to knock down the bushes, we were never able to locate it. On the way out it damaged my right rear stab. It looks like I will be able to get a replacement from Europe, but that will take some time.

Camarillo is on my list of favorite contests each year. You guys have fun, I'll be missing you.
