Yes, it will blink after I cycle power to the rx,,,my concern is why does it take 4 seconds +/- to restore after power is back on.
The fellow I quoted had some similar acting rx's which he sent in to HH and when he received them back they restored control to him in <1 second. I'd like mine to do the same... |

once its hooked up and going, I cycle the power and mine is instantly back on, with the lights blinking.

so, I take back my first post in this thread; from reading around on different forums, appartently there are "older" versions of AR500 firmware floating around. My seem to be current firmware but they are pretty new.

I believe that is correct.
I got this from the Spektrum web site. http://www.spektrumrc.com/Articles/A...ArticleID=1756 I haven't had any probs with my AR500....yet. But, it's flying season and I really don't want to send it back when I've been using it a couple times a week! <BG> I bought my Alpha RTF in March of this year, don't know how long the LHS had it before I purchased it... Happy Flying! |

It wasn't entirely clear from what you wrote but I assume you are ONLY cycling the receiver power off and then on. Correct? If that is so and it still takes 4 or more seconds to reconnect, it definitely doesn't have quick connect. |

GBR2,
Thanks for posting. That is exactly what I am seeing. Simply switching the rx power off and then back on. Tx stays on. It takes about 4 secs. for the rx to give me control through thr Tx again (light does blink on rx). I'll be contacting HH to send it in, but I'm flying w/o prob. to date, and it's the only rx I have for my DX5e....I'd hate to be w/o anything to fly while we have good weather...! I check, and put a charger on, my rx batts. after every flight. Bob |
