I have Lipo batteries that I have been using for three seasons. Some that I have not treated very well have only lasted one season but others get a second life in a plane that does not need the amps.

I don't often sell motors or speed controllers and not many people would purchase used Lipo batteries unless they have only a few cycles on them. I started flying electric in 2006 and in four years the cost of flying electric has come down in price significantly. I enjoy flying electric because it is quiet and for me a lot less trouble and mess than gas. I agree that it is not everyones "cup of tea".
