I need help with a regulator to use on my 6v 2400nimh battery for the EI
unit on my gasser. I don't have a clue of what to use or where to get it from... |

I run my DA ignition on 6 volt, no worries, but if you want to knock it down try here.

A 6V pack plus a regulator and other electronics are to me unnecessary only work to increase the number of possible failure points. |

yes if you can avoid using a regulator for ignition voltage drop , do so as a regultor can break down if faulty. i can,t see anything wrong with running a 4.8 volt nimh pack of say 2000 mah using the good Eneloops .
