I only have a couple of items left on my new Godfrey. Paint the cowl, and balance. I will have to add a bit of weight to the tail to get it to balance.
When I first got this plane, it didn't seem too much larger than my 30% Dietrich. Now that it is covered and almost complete, I can see the truth. It is quit a bit larger. I test ran the engine today and love it. I will have to do a little tuning when I get some time, but it has tons of power! I ended cutting 1" off of the mufflers. This was my first time ever setting up dual servos on one surface, and with the EQ6 it was amazingly simple. I can't wait to get her in the air. Let me know what you think. Here is what I have in it. DL100 Vess 27B Carbon Fiber spinner EQ6 (LOVE IT!!!) Smart-Fly optical ignition cutoff 2 x 3000mAh Flight Power for receiver 2100mAh Thunder Power for ignition 8711 on rudder 5955's on elevator 5625 on throttle DS120M x 4 on ailerons |

I bought it in the bones. To get it here has taken me about 40 hours? That is an estimate as I work on it here and there when I get a chance. |

By the way, the green and white trailer in the pics will be what I will haul it in. I am going to rebuild it from the frame up.

Actually I am not. I saw the orange and blue in another thread and liked it, so that is what I went with.

That seems very light for a kit built plane. It should be a real floater. Congratulations and my compliments! She looks great! Remember to post a vid of the maiden.

Wow! She came out nice. What a beauty! And so light!! You are gonna have soooo much fun. Where is the pilot? Are you going to fly IMAC with her? Congratulations! I offically have plane envy....again. LOL!
![]() I saw a Godfrey fly Sunday at the Pacific Coast Freestyle Challenge. I just looked and I didn't get any pictures of it but there may be some out there from the event.
