It's hot but not that hot. I believe this picture was taken earlier in the morning when alot of people where charging, assembling, or messing with the plane in some sort of fashion, not heat issue's for as long as i was there, yesterday and today.

Weather was pretty bearable this year.....usually triple digits but we didn't cross the Century mark once this year.

The Saturday Registration numbers held at 86, but we should have about 10 show up tomorrow as they called last week and said they would be here late.
I stand corrected on the pilot count, 1,342 cars through today. I think we had 210 yesterday, but need to confirm. Either way, we had a load of people and lots of fun!!!

well here is the last of my photos from the event..... The pictures of Danhakl's P-47 was from some late afternoon action, the gear wouldn't go down resulting is some practice touch-n-goes! By far the best part of the event for me was Zang and Danhakl's extra 260 throwdown Saturday afternoon! 20' waterfalls on the deck and inverted rudder passes sooooo low that grass was being kicked up by the wing! This event was BadAss!

This was one bad ass fly will definetly be there next year. Got to see an awsome knife edge landing, don't get to see that everyday. Sat. morn I was proud to get to do the wakeup call
It was nice to get to meet you davie. thanks for the great fly, it was very well put together. |
