Default New to giant scale from pattern

Hi, i'm Chris Johnson and i normally fly pattern planes, but i'd though i'd try Giant Scale.
I've flown large planes before, but never in a contest. I purchased a 30% yak 54 from a
guy on RC Universe. It's an UltraRC yak before ExtremeFlight took over. It's still in new in the box.
I plan to power it with an 3W 60. Everythings in the box including the instructions, but i will check
for building threads to see if i can improve on the kit instead of building it stock. Maybe even lighting it up some. Maybe change the gear from aluminum to carbonfiber. well we'll see how it goes. But i'm open to suggestions. Again "Hey from Chris J".
