Do you know where I can buy wingbags in Aus?
Even the material for wingbags (to get the missus to make up bags)

Dolphin models have wing bags that carry both wings, wing tube and stabs with carry handle at good pricing.

Don't know what size your wings are but I purchase car winscrean protectors from Repco or Super Cheep. Repco will order them in for you if not in stock. Make sure you get the largest size available (I think thay are to suit a truck) I made bags for my 2.1m from them.

You can even get them in different colours.

Easy to sew... Worked for me and very cost effective also

Excellent idea!!

Most of my planes are 50cc so I'm sure I can get the stuff in big enough sizes

Another option would be Spotlight they have padding for various things and you can choose a colour to attach if you wanted.

On suggestion from a mate, I went to Crazy Clark's today and picked up some fleece blankets. They will do me until I get proper bags.
I will just wrap the blankets around the wings to begin with but I'm sure it will protect them well. At least, it will keep them warm and cozy
