Default Flying Field in Heksher State Park LI

Does anybody know if there is a flying field in Heksher State , near the town of Great River on Long Island?

If there is , is it an AMA sanctioned field ? What is the name of the club that runs it? And their contact information?

Thank you in advance,

Allan

allans - I was crusing the thread and came upon your question. I live in Wyoming, but I have a database of RC field I've been collection for about 9 years. I have around 2600 Clubs located by Lat Long coordinates world wide so far and it's still growing. I did find one RC Club kind of in the area your talking about. It's the:

Suffolk Aero Modelers - Field Number 9
East Islip, NY
AMA #1336
Club Link - http://www.suffolkaeromodelers.org/Home/

Hope this helps you out and it's not to late.

If your ever interested, and if you use Google Earth, here is a link to my file on their forum site:
