Seems a little odd that they'd go with a split cowl on a 100cc plane.. but maybe that's the way things are going. It does make for easier engine access, but the build does take a few days longer just to get everything laid out, drilled and glued properly.
I used to have a composite Edge 540 from Xtreme Composites... very fast plane, but it coupled so bad that it just wasn't fun to fly. Hopefully CompARF spent a little more time testing theirs. |

I'v sent question about wing area to composite ARF, thy have replied that all info is avaliable at their homepage, but I can not find wing area anywhere. If it is known to anyone, please post it here.

Isn't a modded 540 a Slick 540?
I am sure a 150cc will follow, but right now the trend is still tward the extras. I like the cowl.... Much better than the square design.. |

Nice plane... Edges are great for 3D. Needs a new scheme though. Would be good if they got customer input regarding schemes before choosing them.

They deciclined my request as they say only color swap is avaliable. Probably that is only for Europe. But they have all white scheme and anyone can paint it himself.

I seriously don't understand why comp-arf doesn't release wing area information. I've tried to get it too but got no response. makes no sense. oh well.
