Default ParkZone Corsair

Hey Guys I was thinking on getting the Corsair to start training my Son on...He's 6. Well, also for me as well. I have experiance with large Nitro, Heli's and Planes... But no electric.

I havent done the switch to 2.4htz, so I was just thinking about getting the Corsair-ARF...which still needs a reciever, battery and charger. This well also help prevent me from gaining another Radio in my growing stock pile. Anyways, can someone suggest mainbly a good battery, chargers, and perhaps an motor mod.. I read somewhere about useing a power 10 motor? whats that and its cost? I'm going to stick with 72hrtz and get a cheap reciever I think.

Thanks

The Parkzone Corsair has a Park 480 and 30Amp ESC installed. It has a Spectrum receiver installed, but if you want you can yank that and put a 72Mhz Receiver in. The ARF also comes with 1 1800 Mah 3 cell Lipo battery. The Park 480 should give almost unlimited vertical, I wouldn't change that out, the 480 is a very powerful motor.

Get the ARF. Cannot go wrong. I have been in the hobby over 30 years and it is the best $160 I have spent. I have over 300 flights on my T-28 and my 12 year old learned on it. I have flown the Corsair, I would recommend the 2 blade prop, the plane performs better. Taking the gear off is huge option. You may want to yellow mark one surface or orientation. Good Luck,

i never thought warbirds fly the way RC planes are suppose to fly, something with its flight characteristic which does not tickle my feet, does anyone else agree?

Must not have flown the T-28 it's one of the best park flyers I have ever flown.

The Corsair is great, but I have to run my stock motors on 4S to get decent performance. They fly just fine from the factory, but they get a tad boring after a few.... seconds... lol.

Up the throws though and they actually tumble pretty well
