Default MAX FLYING WEIGHT FOR 116cc?

I was wondering what the MAX flying weight that a 116cc engine could fly 3D with? I have the Evolution 116 GX2 with Canisters. I've got it in the Hanger 9 Extra 260 35%! I want to have unlimited vertical and be able to ANY 3D move out there!!! The only other thing that may affect the weight would be my altitude, which is one of the reasons that I went with the more powerful yet heavier Evolution 116 engine! I live and fly mostly at around 4500 feet in elevation!

I NEED UNLIMITED PERFORMANCE AND CAPABLE OF ANY 3D MANEUVER!!!!

30 lbs for very convincing 3D, 25 lbs for unlimited, provided you operate the engine at about 6500 rpm.

My 30% Piper Cub weighs in at 40 lbs, and the engine on MTW TD75 canisters takes the plane out of sight vertically.

You would have been better off with a DA 100 and carbon tubes and gear and minimal equipment. You would have been in the 25-26 pound range and would have had a lighter-flying plane with plenty of power for the most demanding of 3D at 4500 feet.
I am sure the 116 will have plebty of power for you up there as well, as I have heard of it yanking 30+ planes around at sealevel. So long as you are in the 29 pound range you will be fine, power-wise, but you have to remember that in thinner air the wings don't produce as much lift, which is why adding more power while also adding more weight is not the best solution for high-altitude setups. Your best setup is to remove weight from a plane while keeping the standard powerplant.
