Dear Pat,
I just got home from the greatest model airplane event I have attended to date - the 2006 Joe Nall. I spent the past 9 days camping at Triple Tree, and words cannot convey the incredible experience that has just come to a close. Coming from a California boy who stands out like a soar thumb in your neck of the woods, I can honestly say that I have never attended an event where people just "get it"; Everyone was very respectful to one another, AMA rules were followed without question, and camaraderie was on parade. I would like to thank you for all you have done for our hobby, including the building, and opening of this wonderful facility that hosts the greatest events in modeling. I would like to thank your staff including Kirby, Miss Carol, Laura, Mark, Chaz, Bobby, and the many others who's hard work made our stay feel like we were at home, with family. Most of all, I would like to thank you for welcoming all of the FlyingGiants Crew with open arms. As you mentioned many times, The Joe Nall is less of an event, than it is a reunion. I feel like my extended family just got much bigger after this past week. I can't hardly wait until 2007. Thanks again. Mad Max Duncan & The FlyingGiants Crew

Mr. Pats Facility is a Heaven.... in fact I'm really not sure if God himself isn't letting us RC guys see a taste of where we could someday retire to if we live life in the Good lane. MAN what a beautiful layout. And let me add that 99.9% of the people respected Mr. Pats grounds as well. Every single person that was there to fly and camp seemed to be on the same page... keep this amazing place as nice (or nicer) than when we got here. That really hit me as being amazing. Usually if someone goes out of thier way to offer people something great, the general public has a way of runing it, But from what I saw, at the NALL this is not the case. Mr. Pat presents everyone with a world class (actually , unmatched) facility and asks that everyone respect it, and it seems to me, people do just that. (And if they don't the people attending seem to police themselves, and will lay the smack down on an offending party) So Thanks Mr. Pat. Had a wonderful time, would love to come back next year if you will have us!!

I have to agree and say that this was a great break from "normal" life. With 3 different venuies to fly, the great camping areas, very nice shower facilities, the patio, the hanger evry thing was top notch. The crew working the event had everything running like a well oiled machine.
It seemed like almost everyone on the grounds was helping to keep the area as nice as it was when they arrived. Everyone that I met at the event was like meeting good relatives that I hadn't seen in years. Many good friendships were made, and I feel like they are for life. A big thanks from Wizard

Hello,
I agree Max. Mr. Hartness has set the tone for giving back to his passion in model and full scale avaition. I have been going on and off since 1993 and it is a gathering of all the extended friends we have over world and with all meeting new friends on the internet it makes it even better when meeting all in person. We have already planned 2007 and can't wait for the clock to get to May. Best Regards John www.aerotech-rcmodels.com |

No doubt, whether its being able to tear up the skys over triple-tree, or fishing for lunkers in Mr. Pats lake, its truly a paradise for anyone that loves RC Airplanes and the outdoors. Since attending the event for the first time last year, I couldnt wait to return in 2006. After another week of camping, flying, and celebrating with new and old friends, I am once again counting the days until Joe Nall 2007. Thank you Mr. Hartness and crew for your exceptional hospitality and for granting us access to such a beautiful facility. Can't wait for 2007!

thanks Pat for having us Yankees back in the south, i look forward to your event every year and this years event was fantastic as usual. It was great seeing old friends again and making some new ones as well. The event couldnt of been better i think the way the tent setup was done this year made it even more relaxing for us early arrivals. Another thanks to all the giants members for making it down to the nall. And as far as you first timers go im sure you have to agree theres no event like The Joe Nall. It takes a great amount of dedication and know how to run an event of this magnitude and have so few mishaps, i take my hat of to Mr Hartness and all his staff for making this year as enjoyable as my last 8 yrs have been. As for biff what can i say !!! Biff is Biff and he was the first one to have my salami, wait till he sees what i have next year!!! Well so long for now till next year when we get to do it all over again. Max keep the nall clock in operation for the year so ill allways know how many days are left.

This was the 4th Nall for me and it just keeps getting better and better. I'm still amazed that Mr. Hartness is kind enough to allow a hugh bunch of RC hooligans onto his property for a week and have at it. It seems that every year we come back, there is some sort of new improvement to the facility to make the event run smoother and be even more special.
Even with the high winds we had all week, people were out flying everyday and enjoying themselves. Friends of mine who hadn't yet been to 3 Tree for the Nall used to think I was crazy when I started planning for it in December, now they understand why after going for the first time. Once again, a huge thanks goes out to Pat Hartness for all he does for the RC community. |

Words can not explain the good times to be had at The Tripple Tree Aerodome. When I got back Sunday all I could say is "I felt like I just woke up from a dream. Hats off to Mr. Hartness and the entire crew at Triple Tree. I will be at the Joe Nall for now on, until I die or the event is no longer in exeistance.

David, you hit the the nail on the head.....
It felt like a dream!! Mr Pat, I honestly do not know where to begin, Pictures on the internet were the only way I was able to see your truly remarkable facilitiy, but when Kelly and I arrived 816 miles later, I was completely in Awe!! It didn't really sink in until the following morning , until we strolled around your grounds, It truly is a model aviators dream! It also facilitated an opertunity to finally meet you and listen to you talk of how the aerodrome was created. I also would like to convey how friendly and hospitable your staff were to complete strangers like us!! Most of all Mr Pat, your venue has in the last week, introduced us to some of the most wonderful fun loving people Kelly and I have ever met!! These new friends we will cherish until we meet again next May!! Until then, Thankyou David Carr Brampton, On Canada
