Default going big

hey all, ive just started putting together my first giant 3D machine, a 28% wm extra 330l. ive been having a ball with a 48" PA extra260 for a few months now, awesome little machine. anything i should watch out for going up to the big dog? id say im a intermidiate 3Der, can hover, tail touch, rolling harrier the little one etc, ive been told it should get easier if anything? cheers guys, great forum btw

I owned one of these a while back. There are threads on RCU about this plane. I loved mine. It is a very good IMAC machine, but not very good at 3D. At least this was the popular consensus. Build it as light as you can. I have a new canopy that i never got to use ( wing came off in flight) if you ever need one.

ok, how was it lacking in 3D? too heavy? ive replaced a few parts with carbon so it will be a bit lighter than stock, seems to have ample elevators etc i would have thouht it would 3D well enough, seen a few vids of it hovering and torque rolling, not the most extreme 3D i guess, cheers
