True scale or not, you are the man!! Looks enough like the real thing, if it flies well then who cares how "accurate" it is. Most of the heavy arfs out there aren't all that accurate either. As I said before Bob You Are The Man!

I thought this thread was all about a aerobatic extra 260 that was 55% in size and to come in under 50 lbs and be strong and fly lite. Well I think Sensei made that happen. I understand full scale building and the scale masters. But when have you seen a stearman or a sopwith pup in 50% scale come in under 50 lbs. I even have a 44% Smith mini plane witch is a very nice looking SCALE plane and it is comming in at 43 lbs. Bob Stevens how can you even compair the two types of builds heck they do not even fly the same. Scale built planes are heavy and fly that way. If you ever flown one of Sensei planes and felt how they flew you would change your mind. But like it was stated you build one of the 55% extra 260's and that way we all can compair your great skills and flying of it and everyone will see if your flying bricks can realy fly. Have a nice day!!!!

The simplicity of building this kit is the reason I'm buying it .I'm not a builder by no means but this thread has inspired me to build and realize a whole new part of this great hobby.Thank you Sensei for your time and skills.I could care less about scale,I'm looking for performance. Thanks,Vann

Guys,
Lets not waste any time entertaining him any more on this thread. Let him speak his words and post as he wishes, but lets just ignore his comments and enjoy what we like. Neither of us have gone to his scale, war bird, etc.. site (http://www.largemodelassociation.com/) and made comments such as he has. And please don't! So with that said lets just move on and learn from the pot calling the kettle black.. and I quote Mr. Bob S. himself: "If you have only abusive comments to interject then kindly keep them to yourself. I've far too many ignored members on my list as it is and it only exemplifies what I already suspect." Sensie, We appreciate what you have shown us and look forward to learning even more from you.

Hey guys,
I picked up the cowl for my 55% yesterday. This is the first piece out of Bob’s mold and looks really great! Bob has provided Aerotech with some top notch tooling for the production kits!!! To lighten the mood a little in this thread I’ve decided to post the most cliché photos in the hobby

Wow! I leave for just a few days and then check back in on my favorite build thread only to see that things have gone a little daytime soap opera here. While reading the last few days posts all I could hear in the back of my mind was the crowd cheering Jerry! Jerry! Jerry!
To Sensei... The build looks phenominal! and unlik some people I REALLY like the colors you picked. Looking forward to the video and the kits becoming available. To Carven... Always look forward to anything you post just to see your avatars and many of your post just make me chuckle, in a good way. To Husker, Bobstevens, and any other arrogant, pompous assed European I may have missed... After getting over the anger of reading your ill informed and at times, wordy posts I was overcome with a feeling of pride. The pride in knowing I was able to read your posts without interpreting them from German. Keep it up you knob jockeys, and soon all of your credibility here will be gone. And now on with the build, let's see this big beautiful bird all mocked up!
