I switched out a set on my 40% Carden and by doing that and switching to SD Models 5" Foam wheels and titanium Axles it saved me almost 2 lbs. I couldn't believe it.

Thanks for the info guy, I have been using titanium axles, Graph-Tech gears, and TBM wheels for several years now, and I have also had the SD models wheels in my hands and they are really nice as well, I dont know if they make a 6" wheel; but I will find out. I will also see what the guys at Gragh-Tech would want for a gear this size as well.

Awesome. I'll be following along.

Bob, do you think it's feasible to build it so that the fuse will break down in two (for those of us with smaller trailers ).

Oh, it is completely doable, but there would be a weight penalty aft of the C/G.

Bob, are you ever going to finish this one? Remember that other plan sitting in your garage that you are never going to finish!?.

LOL. Why are you not out on a date or something? Sounds like you could use a good woman... Oh, and when I get the urge, I do plan on fnishing the plan... Two questions for you; when are you going to fix your engine cowl on the 300, the spinner sticking out of the intake duct is killing my eyes, and when the hell are you going to come over to the house again?

I'm not worried about him not finishing it, I just hope he doesn't sell it before I get to see it! Like his H9 260

It'll be on Texas' "most wanted plane" list for sure !

Why don't you build me a new cowling from scratch? That way I can say I have a "Legendary Sensei" Custom bird!!!

Do I still have any paint left over there? Red white and Black or has it been obsorbed into the collective? If I only have to buy the cowl it might be worth it...

I have a good women, too bad she doesn't know how to build cowls... but she can cook... Maybe once she has passed her probationary period I will introduce you? You know I don't like to bring them out into public right away
