LOL so true, I flew both same day one after the other and although they were a bit different they were both really good!

H9 260 is $899 FREE SHIPPING right now, that is hard to beat!

lol!
The H9 is kind of a 1 year plane in my experience, but I'd still buy another one.

my two cents worth, but the set up of the plane really makes the difference. You can make an ordinary frame perform if you know how. As once i heard some one say its not the machine but the men who fly them that counts.

My buddy Chad just had a wing failure on his H9 after his 15th to 20th flight. This was with the supposidly updated wing! This happened on a non-violent blender. Now I'm concerned about building mine! I have the updated wings too.

Just do the update anyways.I did and thrash the crap out of mine with no problems. It only takes maybe an hour to do.Well worth the life of the plane you think? I do almost full throtle blenders hard walls with no issues.Mine are the first versions too just with the update.I always put some epoxy around my wing tube sockets in the wings on all my planes anyway.I fly pritty hard and alot. It's worth it the plane is amazing!!!!

ive flown the extra 300, and im sure it cant be far off from the 260. the 300 i flew was at clsoe to 30-32 pounds. and for imac it seemed relaly nice. it is rock sollid in the wind, and tracks very good. for iamc tohugh it tends to over rotate in spins, and over ratate in snaps quite a bit if you dont correct quicck enough. overall its a good plane if set up correctly.

its not on the list, but i jsut picked up a TT TOC 35% extra 260 ,and it flys very well. its only a 102" wingspan, but it flys really relaly well, and the price is right.

Funny you should mention that. Even though I just sent the wings back and got new ones. I too was thinking of doing the update. So I guess I'll update my updated wing...LOL

I have to agree with bodyworks, I also would buy another one if they were in stock.

I too have seen the fuse of one of them just break in half while flying straight vertical. It was a friends. He had the AW Yak 100cc and the H9 260 100cc. He lost both. The 260 was lost in a hover when the engine quit. The other one just broke in half. He bought another 260. Didnt buy another Yak even though it flew great. I have only heard of or seen a fuse just break in half once. Until this thread. I guess if it happens more than once there is a definate problem. I have one of the very first H9 260's and it's still flyies without any issues. I like the looks better too. I now have three all with different setups. I will never buy brand X. They cost too much, dont get what you pay for, and just to have a fuse break for no apparent reason except lack of engineering quality??? I dont think so. That why i drive/race Fords too. They are top quality. Fords are also lighter than heavy chevy's, AKA Brand X.
BTW, Lighter planes fly better!
Well, lighter cars also go faster!!!!!

P/S? i know a #1 pro who sold all his AW planes but still has a H9 260. He always beats the #2 guy with nothing but AW planes. I know im bad.
